    From Linux Kernel Version 4.19, building it requires GCC version 4.6 and up
    With Linux Kernel Version 4.19 and newer, building it requires GCC C compiler version 4.6 as minimum. Previously for compiling Linux Kernel from sources, the minimum version of GCC C compiler version required was set at 3.2. From now on compiling linux kernel version 4.19 and newer, the kernel source build script would explicitly check for GCC 4.6.0 or newer and fail out on older ones.
